Tarun and Sharmila embarked on their Pen Y Fan adventure from the northern trailhead, prepared to conquer the iconic peak and its neighboring summits. The weather smiled upon them with warm sunshine and a gentle breeze, setting the perfect backdrop for their journey.Their hike began with a long ascent towards Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons. With each step, they felt the anticipation of the challenge ahead. Having summited Pen Y Fan, they continued their traverse to Cribyn, another prominent peak in the area. The panoramic views from the ridge were nothing short of breathtaking.The ridge led them to Fan y Big, where they marveled at the rugged beauty of the landscape. This trail was taking them on a journey they wouldn’t soon forget.Descending from Fan y Big, they reached the Roman Road junction, a point that marked their progress and offered a moment of reflection on their epic hike.The adventure continued as they ascended Twyn Mwyalchod, exploring new heights and experiencing the thrill of the unknown.The ridge took them to Corn Du, offering stunning vistas and a sense of accomplishment with every step.From Corn Du, they retraced their steps back to Pen Y Fan, capturing the essence of this majestic peak once more.
