Picking Off Track Mountaineering was the right choice, they really allowed me to challenge myself yet supported me where I needed it most. Having been with other groups I always felt that I was being left behind by more experienced hikers but not once did I feel like that with OffTrack.

I think if you’re are looking for a team that know their knowledge of what they’re doing then Tarun and Greg are the ones to chose.

I went with Greg on a great hike in the Peak District, near Bakewell, walking along the Monsal Dale Viaduct route, exploring some of the surrounding hills, learning about the history of the area. I high recommend for anyone looking to get into hill walking.

I had a wonderful time hiking with Off Track Mountaineering. Created amazing memories and saw breathtaking views in Llyn y Fan Fach, Wales. The team were great company, patient, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very encouraging! I would definitely hike with them again and highly recommend them to everyone!

Mountain Navigation Training with T!

Having just come off a weekends Mountain Navigation Training package with Tarun, I can confidently recommend him and his company to any prospective mountaineer!

Tarun & Greg have extensive British Military experience which skills and knowledge transfer well to the hills.

T continually “stretched” me to within the limits of my comfort zone without applying excessive pressure to “break me”.

Overall I felt the weekend to be very educational and I come away far more confident in navigating by myself in the hills, which I will apply to my future solo-trips.

Thanks Tarun!
